Step 3:  After activating the plugin, you are required to link your account. For this, you need to click on the OptinMonster link given on the left side of your WordPress dashboard.

Step 1:  Click the ‘Create New Campaign’ button provided on the top right of the screen. You will be navigated to the OptinMonster website.

Step 2:  Select ‘popup’ as your campaign type.

Step 4:  Move the cursor over the selected template and click the ‘Use Template’ button.

Step 5:  Now, you need to enter the name for your campaign and select the website for which you are creating the template. You can also enter a new website if required. Click the ‘Start Building’ button.

Step 6:  OptinMonster will automatically load your selected template. Edit the template as per your choice.

Step 7:  After designing the popup of your choice, head towards creating the ‘Success View’, something that appears in front of the user after submitting the form.

Opt for the “Success’ view available on the top of the screen.

Connecting Your Popup To Your Email List

Step 1:  Click on the ‘Integrations’ tab provided at the top of the screen and then click on the ‘+ Add New Integration’ provided on the left of the screen.

Step 2:  Choose your email provider from the dropdown menu and obey the directions to attach it to OptinMonster.

Establishing The Popup To Display On Click

Step 1:  Click on the ‘Display Rules’ tab given on the top of the screen.

Step 2:  Choose ‘Visitor Clicked MonsterLink’ from the provided dropdown menu.

Step 3:  Click the button and copy your MonsterLink code as you will need it in further steps.

Making Your On Click Popup Live

Step 1:  Click on the ‘Publish’ tab. Establish your campaign’s status as live.

Step 2:  Click on the Save button given on the top of the screen. 

Step 3:  Now, you are required to set your campaign live on your WordPress website.

For this, you need to go to the WordPress dashboard and click on the ‘OptinMonster’ link. 

Step 4:  Click the ‘Refresh Campaigns’ button.

Step 5: You will see the campaign status as live. You can disable it whenever you want simply by clicking the disable option given under the name of your campaign.

Associating A MonsterLink To Your Website

Step 1:  Build a fresh page or post or you can even modify the existing one if you want to add your link to the same.
